Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Preymal Hunt (“the Game,” “we,” “us”) is a free, ad-supported mobile game. This policy explains what information the Game and this website collect, how it’s used, and the choices you have. Preymal Hunt has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no in-app purchases — playing the Game does not require you to give us your name, email address, or any other personal contact information. The only place we ask for those is the optional launch-notification form on this website, described below.
Information We Collect
Launch-Notification Signups (This Website)
If you choose to submit the “Notify me at launch” form on this website, we store the name and email addressyou type into it, along with the date and time of the submission, in our own database on our own server. This is entirely optional — you can read every page of this site and play the Game without ever submitting it.
We use that name and email for exactly one thing: sending you a single message when Preymal Hunt is released on the App Store. We do not add you to a newsletter, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share, sell, or transfer it to anyone else. To have your details deleted at any time — before or after launch — email support@preymal.com and we will remove them.
To stop automated abuse of that form, our server briefly checks the IP address a submission arrives from in order to rate-limit repeated attempts. That IP address is held only in memory for this check and is never written to our database.
Leaderboard Data
To power the Game’s global leaderboards, Preymal Hunt connects to our backend service at api.preymal.com. When you first play, the Game generates a random, anonymous identifier on your device (not tied to your name, email, or any other personal account) and uses it, together with:
- a display name you choose yourself, and
- your best power score and lifetime earned score,
to show your ranking on the leaderboards. There is no sign-in, no password, and no personal account behind this identifier — it only exists to keep your leaderboard entry consistent between play sessions.
Gameplay Data Stored Only On Your Device
The rest of your progress — your points balance, the skin you’ve chosen, when you last claimed a daily reward, and a few first-run flags the Game uses to know you’ve seen its tutorial — is stored locally on your device only. This information is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, and it is not backed up to our servers. If you uninstall the Game or switch devices, this local progress does not carry over. (Your best power score is also cached locally for quick access, but as described above it is separately sent to our leaderboard service.)
Advertising Data
Preymal Hunt is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, AdMob’s software development kit (SDK) collects advertising identifiers and ad-performance measurement data. Specifically, AdMob’s SDK declares that it may use:
- Device ID (used for tracking)
- Advertising Data
- Coarse Location
- Product Interaction
- Performance Data
- Crash Data
- Other Diagnostic Data
On iOS, the Game will ask for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before using your device’s advertising identifier for personalized ads. If you decline, you will still see ads — they will simply be non-personalized, based on general context rather than your individual activity.
How We Use Information
We use the information described above only to:
- send a single launch announcement to people who asked for one via the form on this website,
- operate and display the Game’s global leaderboards,
- serve and measure advertising that keeps the Game free, and
- diagnose crashes and technical problems so we can keep the Game running smoothly.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond what is described in this policy.
Third-Party Services
Preymal Hunt relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Nakama leaderboard backend — our own backend service at
api.preymal.com, used solely for the anonymous leaderboard functionality described above. - Google AdMob — used to serve advertising. See Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy and their AdMob-specific disclosures for details on how Google handles advertising data.
Your Choices
- You can allow or decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt at any time from your device’s Settings app (Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).
- You can reset your device’s advertising identifier or limit ad tracking through your device’s operating system settings.
- Because Preymal Hunt does not use accounts, there is no personal account to delete. Uninstalling the Game removes all locally stored gameplay data from your device.
Children’s Privacy
Preymal Hunt does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The Game does not collect names, email addresses, or any other information that could identify a player as an individual.
Data Retention
Launch-notification signups are kept until the launch email has been sent, or until you ask us to delete them — whichever comes first — and are then removed. Leaderboard entries (anonymous device identifier, chosen display name, and scores) are retained for as long as the leaderboard feature is offered. Locally stored gameplay data remains on your device until you clear the Game’s data or uninstall it.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the limited data described in this policy. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
